Water is dying everywhere

چکیده
This flash piece asks what development means for rivers, indigenous farmers, and tourists when we redirect, move, siphon water from one region to another. The work considers rivers as traces of time, peoples, environments, following my chronology physical residence(s) in California, Hunan, Guangxi, Yunnan China. I begin the Bay Area, where grew up, move time spent on five Southern China: Xiangjiang, Li, Jinsha, Lancang, Nujiang.
